The Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary are located in three countries in Africa: Mozambique, Zimbabwe, and Zambia.
The Region of Mozambique was founded by sisters sent from Portugal in 1952. Today, the sisters minister in Maputo, Quelimane, Beira, Gurue, Chimoio and Nacala Porto.

The Zambezi Region originated as missions of the Northern European Province in Zambia and of the Eastern American Province in Zimbabwe. Today, the sisters serve in Zambia in Lusaka, Chivuna, and Choma; in Zimbabwe in Harare, Mutare, and Chinhoyi.
