Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary (RSHM) Volunteer Program
The Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary have dedicated their lives in service to others through their various ministries: education, pastoral ministries, retreat and spiritual direction, health care, social work, peace and justice advocacy, to promote life, especially in those situations where it is denied, devalued, or diminished.
As a way to partner in this work, be a part of the Eastern American Province's RSHM Volunteer Program.
Short Term Volunteers are invited to serve at Marymount Convent, in Tarrytown, NY.
- Do you have an hour, per week? Per month?
- A special skill/talent that you would like to share?
- Visit a sister. Read. Help a sister write a letter. Discuss current events. Listen and share stories. Work on a craft project. Learn of the sisters’ experience as an RSHM.
Volunteers will be provided with an orientation.
