In their recent Provincial Chapters,
the sisters of the Eastern American Province and the Western
American Province committed themselves to developing a contemplative
attitude toward all of creation and to living a style of life
that sustains life everywhere and promotes greater harmony with
the earth. Let us grow together in respect and reverence for
