As Religious of the Sacred Heart of Mary, we are women called to belong totally and undividedly to God and to channel our energies to God's desire that all may have life and have it to the full.

We are an international community of 1000 women in five provinces and two regions serving in fourteen countries. We are diverse yet united in a common spirit of faith and enthusiasm for the mission of Jesus Christ.

DIVERSE
  • from the Americas, Europe and Africa
  • of different cultures and languages
  • with various educational backgrounds, talents and experiences
  • involved in diverse ministries

UNITED

  • in a common vision and purpose
  • through life in community
  • our public vows within the Church
  • in a commitment to use our global network for justice

FOR A SHARED MISSION

  • knowing God and making God known, loving God and making God loved
  • following Jesus Christ who came "that all might have life, and have it to the full" (Jn 10:10)
  • responding to the needs of our times

THROUGHOUT THE WORLD

  • present as builders of solidarity
  • available to go wherever the Institute recognizes a need
  • enriched by the presence of the Spirit in many different cultures

TODAY

The call to share in the life-giving mission of Jesus Christ challenges us to work for evangelical justice in all that we do.
