100 years

Mother Marie Joseph Butler and 6 other RSHM arrived in Tarrytown, New York on December 8, 1907. They brought a statue of the Blessed Virgin Mary with them and their mission to know and love God, and make God known and loved to the foundation which they named Marymount.

The following pages describe the celebrations of Solemn Vespers at Marymount Convent on December 7, 2007 and the 100th anniversary liturgy at St. Ignatius Church on 84th Street in Manhattan on December 8, 2007.
